Originally from Italy, Joe is a permanent fixture on the footpath opposite Woolies. He has been selling flowers from his barrow on Darling Street for 14 years. Before that he and his wife Lydia ran the fruit shop on Glebe Point Road.
He holds a bunch of his fresh flowers:
